Message to MAGA from a Blue Resistor
Trump’s MAGA Christian Nationalist base is into the laws of the land. The MAGA Republicans rule over the Supreme Court, the House of Representatives, the Senate. They even rule the majority I live in Iowa. I swear it's the MAGA capital of the states of the world. It's these red states who are going to feel it the most. A lot of people here voted for him. They're going to feel soon enough if they haven't already. What happens when you vote for a fascist dictator? What happens when you put a criminal into the highest office in the land? When they finally realize it, when they get hurt the most, when it's them, those MAGA voters, when it's them to start feeling the pain of the finances and their hardships, and their own family members feel it as well.
It's not only the blues that feel the pain, it's the reds that will feel it too. And any MAGA that voted for Trump and continues to support him, when that realization finally hits you and you realize you've been conned and you voted this monster into office, the only way you're going to realize it is if you feel the pain too. If you don't feel it now, it will come to you eventually and you'll feel it. And then you'll regret it, and only then will you regret voting to have a criminal in office, a fascist dictator, a narcissist. Only when you personally feel the pain will you turn away from this orange God of yours.
And you MAGA, are part of the blame for us hurting right now. So when you MAGA actually come to your senses, as much as we need you on our side, on the blue resistance, to turn against Trump and go against him and join us, as much as we need you some of us will not welcome you with open arms. You helped to cause the problem. You put him in office knowing he was a criminal, lying-ass narcissist.
You bought all the crap he dished out and you still voted him into office. To say you didn't know what he was going to do is bullshit. You would have had to have been severely into him and indoctrinated somehow in order not to see what the rest of us saw. And now you're going to pay for it right along with the rest of us. You're going to hurt just as much as we are. If not right away, you'll be hurting soon.
Trump is a modern day Hitler and he's coming for you. He's coming for all of us. Unless you're a billionaire, you're going to feel the pain. You better stop your loyalty to this criminal. We need the entire nation to come together to fight off his regime, to get him out of office, out of power. Canada is standing up to him. Any nation who is willing to stand up to Trump, to stand up against the bully, it's those nations I support.
I support Canada. I support Ukraine. I support those nations trying to be independent, trying to stay independent, trying to keep themselves from being ruled over by a dictator, by a bully. If you continue to support Trump you will be held responsible, you already are. Any MAGA, as much as we need these MAGA Republicans who voted for them, as much as we need some of them on our side to join the blue resistance, like I said, not everyone is going to welcome you with open arms.
When you feel the pain, as much pain as what the rest of us are feeling, when it finally hits you and you start feeling it in your pocketbook, and you say, “Oh, I regret I ever voted for him. I regret the day I ever did it.” It's like you have to feel it personally in order for you to feel sorry you voted for him? You should have known what kind of monster you were getting. And every time I hear that a MAGA regrets voting for him, at the same time I understand their pain. They realize they've been conned, they've been fooled. At the same time I understand that part of it I want to laugh and say, “I told you so.” You'll get no respect or sympathy from me. But at the same time, I do feel your pain. We need you on our side.
By your support for a monster, you hurt everyone in this nation. You hurt all American citizens. You even hurt the people who are here who are immigrants, but that were here legally, that got pulled out of here. You hurt everyone. You MAGA who support a dictator, you hurt us all, including yourselves.
