Today, I’m diving deep into the world of Christian denominations to see if I can figure out whether all 45,000 of them are actually based on truth! The Bible’s internal contradictions, combined with this vast array of interpretations, suggests its foundations might not be entirely truth-based. Some Christians, it seems, happily accept religious claims as true without much evidence. This can foster a charming gullibility, curb critical thinking, and sadly enable manipulation—cheerfully exemplified by biblical inconsistencies, endless denominational squabbles, and politically charged creations, such as the “Trump Bible.” I invite my viewers to share their thoughts in the comments about the nature of truth in Christianity. Can any truth be found at its source? As an ex-christian turned atheist, I beg to differ.
